Excellent Benefits The City of Cornelius is recruiting for a full-time Support Specialist I who will perform a wide variety of customer service and clerical support.
Responsibilities include assisting the public by providing information personally or directing information requests according to established procedures; sorts, logs and maintains records and other documents; cash handling; types, prepares and assembles a variety of memos and reports as assigned; types board/commission meeting minutes.
Order, receive, inventory, store and distribute supplies, forms, and related department items.
Performs other related duties as required.

Qualifications:
Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities in the Position Description is qualifying.
A typical way to obtain the required qualifications would be:
Education:
A high school diploma or GED.
